GulfDrug Launches Tawasel Program

It is the perfect moment on the timeline of UAE history - for the contributions of the local talents to become the pillars of a promising future of our country.  Aligning with the Dubai Government's Emiratisation initiatives, GulfDrug, a well-established trusted and reliable pharma distributor is leading the way once again with a suite of employee programs.

The Emiratisation department at GulfDrug has proudly launched their first Tawasel meeting introducing a series of new initiatives focused on learning and development. This event was graced by the attendance of the top management of the company and all Emirati employees.  Understanding the significance of proactively building a legacy, the programs are designed not only to meet regulatory requirements but to empower Emirati professionals with the skills and opportunities needed to excel in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Maseera Program – The Maseera program is aimed at upskilling talented Emirati professionals through training and development. Taking inspiration from the great leaders of the UAE, this program conceived by Gulf Drug, a pioneer in medical equipment supply in the UAE, helps to enhance the skills and talents of Emirati employees and unlocking their potential to excel and achieve their career goals.
  • Sanad Program (GulfDrug Employees Wellness Program) – A comprehensive wellness program - aptly named Sanad meaning support, conceptualised and led by the Emirati employees at GulfDrug has been designed to provide mental, physical and career wellness to all the employees. 
  • Injazi Program – This program is created to attract and train talented Emirati undergraduates for internships to prepare them for future employment opportunities at GulfDrug. A leading hospital equipment supplier - GulfDrug has always believed in nurturing and coaching talent, and providing opportunities to newcomers.
  • Cultural Awareness Program - This is a program especially for all the non- Emirati new employees, to help them acquaint and gather an in-depth understanding of the UAE and Emirati culture and etiquettes.  It is delivered by the Youth Council members at GulfDrug to encourage a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Awards and Recognition – In addition to the above programs, top performers and Emirati employees were presented with awards in recognition of their achievements, and the role models in top management were lauded for their outstanding contributions.
